The Call

Soliloquy is a body of work that uses the fairy tale of “Sleeping Beauty” to represents a spiritual journey I underwent. “The call” is the 1st of a triptych and is the beginning of the rite of passage, where the heroine leaves the ordinary world, and enters an extraordinary one. Unlike usual, the herald is not the prince but rather a deeper desire to develop her own sense of agency.

Confrontation

Soliloquy is a body of work that uses the fairy tale of “Sleeping Beauty” to represents a spiritual journey I underwent. “Confrontation” is the 2nd of a triptych which represents the heroine’s confrontation with obstacles in the form of an otherworldly experience.

Return

Soliloquy is a body of work that uses the fairy tale of “Sleeping Beauty” to represents a spiritual journey I underwent. “Return” is the 3rd of a triptych and is the end of the rite of passage, where the heroine leaves her dream and re-enters the ordinary world – transformed.
